“What’s Up Walla Walla?” is a social media series of Walla Walla University designed to introduce current and prospective students to insider secrets of the University’s campus life through “man-on-the-street” interviews.
This logo animation project was my first foray into After Effects motion animation. Having used After Effects previously for past film projects, I was already familiar with the software’s user interface and tools. The challenge of this project, however, was translating that knowledge into understanding how to manipulate vector graphic elements to create a final product that appeared smooth, energetic, and engaging.
This project was a collaborative effort with fellow designer Ares Alcantara who created the original logo.
